Jonathan S. Goldman

FOUNDING ATTORNEY

Jonathan S. Goldman is an accomplished trial attorney and the founder of Goldman Law Center, formerly Goldman Law Chicago. With a career spanning more than 15 years, Jonathan has dedicated his practice to criminal defense law. He has successfully tried hundreds of cases, obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients facing a wide range of charges including murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery, armed robbery, DUI, theft, reckless homicide, drug possession, and more.

In addition to his trial work, Jonathan has filed hundreds of successful expungement and sealing petitions and represented clients in front of the Illinois Prisoner Review Board for executive clemency petitions. He has a deep understanding of how to efficiently navigate courtroom procedures to get cases resolved without unnecessary delays. Jonathan is a strong advocate for alternative resolutions to cases including treatment and mental health courts which do not involve jail or prison time.

Jonathan grew up In Milwaukee, WI then moved to Madison for his undergraduate studies. During college, Jonathan worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responding to 911 ambulance calls. His experience as a first responder combined with his knowledge of police, fire, and ambulance procedures provides him with a unique perspective on every case. This in-depth knowledge informs how he approaches medical records, testimony of emergency professionals, and autopsies and medical examiner testimony. Jonathan moved to Chicago in 2004 for law school and established Goldman Law Center in 2009.

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys practicing yoga, recording and producing music, and playing the guitar. Jonathan is also Of Counsel to Niebrzydowski Law, LLC, a family and property law firm based in Cook County.

Attorney Julia Niebrzydowski is the founding attorney of Niebrzydowski Law, LLC, a family and real-estate law firm.
